The Zalaris smartHR sick leave module is a portal based application integrated in to our smartHR Manager Self Service (MSS) and Employee Self Service (ESS) concept. 

The solution contains innovative reporting capabilities to assist managers understand the cost of sick leave, as well as sick leave levels relative to their organisation’s average and target levels.   Reports to assist managers in prioritising sick leave reduction efforts are also available.

To support an overall drive to reduce sick leave, the solution will notify managers via MSS based workflows to follow up on employees absent from work.  Dialogue meetings with the absent employee can be documented to ensure compliance with sick leave refund policies.  Sick leave documentation is available for both managers and employees in their respective MSS and ESS portals.

Dash board type reporting with company specific thresholds can be provided to managers as a reminder of sick leave importance and associated policy upon each entry to the Zalaris portal.
